Dear Channahon District 17 Students, Families, and Community Members:
On behalf of the District 17 Board of Education and each of our four exceptional schools, I welcome you to Channahon School District 17!
A key component of our district mission is to "...emphasize real-life applications and challenge each individual to be a productive citizen and lifetime learner who deals effectively with others and the changing world." District 17 educators will achieve this mission by continuing to provide intellectually stimulating, real-world experiences for every child. While each academic center has developed age-specific objectives, all district schools are focused on providing an exceptional learning environment that provides ample opportunities for students to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Channahon District 17 educators understand that positive, meaningful relationships are essential to our students' success. These relationships will continue to be the hallmark of the District 17 experience. We also look forward to engaging with our parents and community members as we continue to build upon the legacy that has been established in Will County's finest school district. We are grateful for your continued support and look forward to partnering with you!
