Illinois Elementary School Association
The Illinois Elementary School Association regulates interscholastic activities in the state including sports, scholastic bowl, speech and music. View site now.

National Federation of State High School: Coaches Association
The National Federation of State High School Associations is the national service and administrative organization of high school athletics and fine arts programs in speech, debate and music. The National Federation of State High School Associations publishes playing rules in 16 sports for boys and girls competition and provides programs and services that its member state associations can use in working with the 17,346 member high schools and approximately 10 million young people involved in high school activity programs.

Procedure for Contacting Coaches
The coaching staff and administration would like to encourage open communication between parents and coaches. If you would like to speak to a member of the coaching staff, especially regarding individual playing time, team status, or specific coaching strategies/techniques/decisions/philosophies, we would like you to utilize the following process:

• Communication or contact is not most effective when it takes place immediately following a practice or contest. In order to successfully alleviate any questions or concerns, please call the individual coach at Channahon Junior High School @ 467-4314 during the morning of the next school day.
• If a concern persists beyond your phone conversation with an individual coach, please contact Tim Hanson, the Channahon Junior High Athletic Director via the Junior High or email thanson@csd17.org to schedule a meeting between the parent(s), coaching staff, and athletic director.
• If necessary, a subsequent meeting will be scheduled in which the parent(s), coaching staff, Athletic Director, and Building Principal will continue to work toward the resolution of any problem or concern.
