The Channahon School District Robotics Club, led my Mrs. Gubbins, Mrs. Hodapp, and Mr. Catigano, emerged as a powerhouse in just its first year. Students from Three Rivers School and Channahon Junior High enjoyed an extraordinary inaugural year. What started just one year ago as an idea has quickly grown into one of the district's most successful programs.
Despite being newcomers, the Channahon 17 Robotics Club made a remarkable debut at the State tournament, with two teams placing. Students impressed with their innovation, creativity, and problem solving skills. Their hard work paid off, earning them a reputation as a team to watch in coming years.
The Robotics Club advisors are confident the best is yet to come — with hopes of again competing at the state level and inspiring even more students to join. Look for information on the Robotics Club in 2025-2026!
